The third main dining room is the largest, and offers the most seating. This space also features a large dance floor and stage where it appears there is sometimes entertainment during meals. We ate dinner here on the 6th day of our sailing, and there was music playing overhead, but no live entertainment during the meal.

I was impressed with her during my short time on board and I have to say that the food was superb – I definitely recommend you try Cagney’s Steakhouse. The Getaway is also able to house up to 1,646 crew members, and measures 1,068.3 feet in overall length. The Norwegian Getaway is one of two ships in Norwegian Cruise Line’s Breakaway Class.

The ship seemed to have plenty of room to accommodate all of the guests onboard, and no restaurant ever seemed overly crowded. We noticed multiple crew members and fellow passengers commenting that reservations seemed unnecessary on this sailing. I recommend still making reservations ahead of time for things such as dining and shore excursions just in case, but it seemed that these things could have been easily arranged once onboard. This exclusive restaurant is complimentary to guests staying in The Haven aboard NCL vessels. This space offers guests a fine dining experience and serves unique dishes as well as signature classics. Lastly, one of the (many) great things about the Norwegian Getaway experience is the service. The crew and staff really go out of their way to make sure that you have everything you need at every time of the day. Head to the library, where you can check out both physical and electronic books. On Deck 17, there’s Vibe Beach Club, a less raucous space that’s also adults-only, with a huge hot tub and cabanas. Spice H20 is free for everyone to enter, while Vibe Beach Club keeps things more exclusive, with an entry fee and guest cap of 60 guests.
This unique and fun food location is a must-visit onboard NCL’s Getaway. This complimentary noodle bar offers classic Asian inspired food such as wok fried dishes, prepared noodles, and soups. We visited this location for dinner one night, and very much enjoyed it. One of the three main dining rooms onboard, Savor offers classic favorites as well as unique dishes.
These staterooms include a queen-size bed and the same amenities as other inside staterooms. Casual choices include the Garden Café with a fabulous buffet that includes delicious pasta dishes. Scrumptious French cuisine is served at Le Bistro and you can experience a new seating option at Atrium Al Fresco, where you will feel like you are at a Paris café. Other choices include the classy Cagney's Steakhouse and Teppanyaki, serving hibachi-style dinners. Pub-like O'Sheehans Neighborhood Bar & Grill also boasts a two-story screen for sports and Shanghai Noodle Bar is the largest at sea. Designed just for kids ages 10 to 12, is their own space on deck 13 with a visual dance space and a jukebox, plus a hang-out area. Entourage, for teens, provides them their own place, including a fun arcade center.

While on our sailing, we noticed that this area of the ship tends to remain open late into the night. Located on Deck 15 through Deck 17, the Aqua Park offers both relaxation and thrill to passengers. In this area, guests can find multiple swimming pools, hot tubs, and multi-level water slides. NCL currently boasts the fastest water slide at sea, the Free Fall.
