The Levine Museum of the New South is free to visitors on the first Sunday of every month from noon to 5 p.m. Be sure to park at 7th Street Station for parking validation for two hours on weekdays (and all day on weekends). The Levine Museums is one of Charlotte's best and tells the story of the city from the Civil War to today.
